Here are awesome resources for anyone looking to get into mindfulness, meditation, manifesting, the law of attraction, spirituality, and eastern philosophy.
Mentors and Inspirations:
Alan Watts - Famed philosopher known for interpreting eastern teachings to a western culture. Watts passed on in '73, yet his teachings from roughly half a century ago are more relevant now than ever before. Listening to him laugh is a gift in itself, and his simple yet profound opinions (including the insanity of working for money) are absolutely mind-blowing and life-changing.
Abraham Hicks - Such a short while ago, I would not have been able to embrace the teachings of an "entity" channeled by Esther Hicks. Now, they are some of my greatest sources of inspiration and knowledge, with constant and consistent reminders that life is supposed to be fun, "this" is supposed to be easy, and that we are all here as unique, creative beings (not "doings"). That's how powerful and reality-shifting their message is. Highly recommended reading: "Ask and It Is Given"
Dr. Wayne Dyer - His calm and soothing demeanor, and his clear and succinct messages, make him one of the most influential speakers and authors of recent history. His teachings that 'not only does what you say become reality, but what you think becomes reality' makes the listener who is ready to hear it an immediately more positive person. Highly recommended reading: "Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting"
Eckart Tolle - Author of The Power of Now with a simple yet profound message, that living in the present moment is the greatest source of joy in this life. He's another mentor with an infectious laugh, and I can totally relate to him spending 'a few years sitting on park benches.' Highly recommended reading: "The Power of Now"
